General Summary
Johnson & Johnson is currently recruiting for a Supply Chain Finance Technology Manager primarily focusing on managing the Supply Chain Finance technology solutions, capturing, understanding, and implementing system enhancements and projects within the local platform(s). This position can be based anywhere within the Latin America but must be able to manage effectively across the time zones. Talent at J&J campuses across Latin America sites be considered, but travel to business partner sites will be required based on business needs.

The organization is looking to add a Supply Chain Finance Technology Manager to be a part of the Finance Technology Solutions LATAM team. This individual is a key business partner to the Finance Technology Solutions LA leader and the local Supply Chain finance team helping them to determine demand prioritization and technology standardization. The individual is also responsible for supporting various aspects of system enhancements and project implementations as well as the overall operation of financial processes and close collaboration with key business and IT partners across the J&J enterprise.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to business partners across all sectors within the region
- Be a Local Platform Finance Product Owner(s)
Gaining a depth understanding of the Costing Template and existing Product Flows
Build and prioritize the financial system portfolio, and capture the demand from business
Own and/or manage resources required for financial system initiatives, including third-party contracts (Capacity team)
Provide expertise in reviewing SoWs, analyzing costs, and benchmarking funding with business partners
Execute program management for multiple active projects
Identify integration points and ensure all other applications, processes, vendors, and functional areas impacted are represented and/or informed about the projects
Coordinate service levels and availability of business partners required to perform tasks required by the projects
Manage risks by proactively identifying potential issues that may impede progress, resolving issues that do arise, and appropriately escalating when needed
When needed, support system enhancements and project implementations through requirements documentation, gap analysis, system tasks and post go-live support
Ensure strict compliance with all compliance and business policies including SOX cycles, SOPs, internal & external audit requirements, and system security protocols * Business Relationships
Partner with various Finance and IT Managements, ensuring adherence to global system standardization and best practices as well as overall business strategy
Advocate Financial Strategy & Technology capabilities and value to the Finance community
Participate in various management meetings/activities, as required, including Controller/CFO staff meetings, financial strategy reviews and business planning, ESP/GS partnership meetings, and IT financial planning meetings.
Collaborate with Finance Management and IT to establish and maintain a project roadmap, including budgeting, resource allocation, and alignment to goals and objectives of applicable team members
Coordinate preparation of applicable business cases and submission of related capital acquisition requests for all planned projects
Develop partnerships/networks and leverage expertise of Finance Strategy & Technology Managers in other operating companies and platforms to ensure consistent delivery of system solutions
Participate in industry-related activities to maintain up-to-date knowledge of latest technologies and trend for financial system solutions * Technology Standardization
Lead exploration of new system solutions to address business needs and translating design into user stories
Ensure smooth end-to-end integration of multiple technologies required by business
Manage process harmonization across business
Promote usage of all implemented tools and proactively identify system solutions to standardize and streamline business processes (system short-cuts, ad-hoc reports, automation, etc.)
Communicate financial business process and system solutions to peers across regions and platforms * Other Responsibilities
As needed, review and approve test scripts associated with enhancement and project initiatives ensuring they are aligned with testing protocol
Approve master data changes as required
Coordinate the creation of training documentation and/or delivery of systems training for business partners on all implemented tools
Qualifications
Qualifications/Requirements
A minimum of 2 years of related business experience
Minimum of 7 years strong transactional experience with SAP ERP system is required. An SAP FICO / MM / PP certification is preferred
Minimum of 5 years’ experience with system enhancement, project implementation, and testing protocol management
Minimum of 5 years’ experience with global collaboration, operating model strategy and system implementation management is preferred
Understanding of the main Supply Chain Finance activities, costing absorption, variances, distribution, allocation for production and commercial companies
Strong understanding of financial business processes and reporting in areas such on SCF and I2C
Strong analytical, problem solving and team building skills, attention to details, ability to prioritize and plan effectively, initiative to follow through on directives, and knowledge and sensitivity to global partners/cultures/norms
A solid understanding of accounting principles and practices
Advanced framing skills for presentation & communication at all levels of the organization
Strong relationship management/partnering skills
Working knowledge of reporting tools like SAP BI, TM1, Tableau, Cognos, SQL, Cliq, and Alteryx is desirable
Experience in supporting business applications such as Ariba, Concur, Blackline, and High Radius is helpful
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Proficiency in English and Advance Portuguese.
